Asus XG27UCDMG gaming monitor with 4K QD-OLED display is unveiled

Asus has announced the ROG Strix OLED XG27UCDMG, a 26.5-inch gaming monitor with a 4K QD-OLED panel with 240Hz scanning. The matrix is supplied by Samsung.

The monitor offers a high contrast ratio of 1.5 million:1, brightness up to 1000 nits, 99% DCI-P3 coverage and ΔE<2 color accuracy. Response time is 0.03ms GTG. Support for FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync for smooth gameplay is also claimed, while ELMB technology will minimize blurring effects as much as possible. Asus has also implemented Anti-Flicker 2.0 technology to reduce flicker and OLED Care Pro to protect against burn-in.

The ROG Strix OLED features 2x HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), USB-C (DP Alt, 90W Power Delivery), a USB hub, and a headphone jack. The stand supports full adjustability, including 90° rotation, as well as VESA 100x100mm mounts. Other features include AI Crosshair, AI Shadow Boost and AI Visual, which automatically optimizes the picture in games.
