The Atari GameStation Go portable console with 200 games is presented

At CES 2025, Atari, together with MyArcade, introduced the portable Game Station Go console. This device combines elements of both retro gaming and modern technology. The console attracts attention with its unusual design and controllers designed for old-school games. Among the pre—installed 200 games are Atari cult hits such as Pac-Man, Missile Command, Breakout and Star Raiders.

The device is equipped with a 16:9 aspect ratio screen, and also has an HDMI port for connecting to a TV or monitor. There are also USB-C connectors for charging and 3.5mm headphones, as well as a microSD card slot and Wi-Fi support. It is important that the console supports the connection of additional controllers, expanding the possibilities of the game.

One of the unique aspects of the console is the illuminated controls, which are highlighted depending on the game. For example, when using pads or a trackball, when playing Breakout or Centipede, only the corresponding controls light up. This not only improves visual perception, but also makes the game more intuitive.

Although the console is focused on retro games, it also has modern features. In particular, Wi-Fi support will allow you to download updates and new games, as well as use other features in the future. However, information about the "internals" of the device remains unknown for the time being — the characteristics of the processor, the amount of memory and the operating system have not been disclosed.
